Podcasts are great for listening to the motorbike races when you cant be there. it is almost live. for example this web site has lots of podcasts although they call it audio

Week 7 Tagging

delicious looks good for me to find ideas for craft for storytime. Library thing will be helpful for those patrons who believe that if you work in a library you must read books. i can get them to link to library thing for their favourite authors and who writes like them.

Week 6 - Video embedding

This is not me but it is a good example of what I do in my spare time.

This format would be good to use for staff training.

Week 5 Wikis

Interesting to see other peoples comments on our jobs. This would be a good format to use for the day book (which is currently in paper form) and this would allow for branch staff to access vital information regarding this branch for when they come in to work on weekends. I am now receiving RSS feeds from snarl.com.au for traffic information and new items on our system and the weather through igoogle. thanks
